Here’s what we’re looking for Do keep in mind that

• BE / BTech / MCA graduates in Computer Science / Information Science/Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication and Electrical and Electronics.

• Academic criteria: Marks of 65% or more at the graduate level, and 60% or more in 10th & 12th exams.

• Only graduates of 2012 and 2013.

• Training or certification courses in any one of these technologies: C++/Mainframes / .Net / PLSQL / Testing / Java/SAP/Unix

• Willingness to work in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad or Mumbai.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and on any project and sign a service agreement of 24 months.

• Willingness to work in Development, Testing, Production support and Maintenance areas. • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified and called for the selection process.

Senior Test Engineer:
Description


ETL/Database Tester with strong understanding of database concepts, SQL writing and understanding data model. Will perform test planning and execution tasks and provide end to end support in project life cycle within their specific domain knowledge. Will ensure that their tasks are on schedule and with high quality.
Critical Skills Required:
Around 4.5 years development/testing experience on database, Data Warehousing or ETL projects
Hands-on experience on Unix commands
Hands on experience on writing complex SQLs (Oracle/DB2/Teradata preferred)
Scheduling tool experience (TWS preferred)
Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination.
Should be flexible with the working hours as he/she needs to closely work with the US counterparts
Should be able to work independently and act proactively
Responsibilities :
Analyze and interpret business requirements/ workflows
Create test plans, execute system testing and integration testing for small - medium size projects
Developing and maintaining standards, common processes and best practices
Create quality documentations (Test plans , Test Scripts and Test closure summaries)
Support project deployments and provide warranty support
Assist others on issues, critical situations to meet project objectives
Status reporting for the assigned projects
Learn new concepts of the technology and share the knowledge with team
Support team on automation initiatives

Hadoop with Strong ETL background:
Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (e.g. MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume)
Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP, Chef)
Hands-on experience with ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) tools (e.g Informatica, Talend, Pentaho)
Hands-on experience with 'productionalizing' Hadoop applications (e.g. administration, configuration management, monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning)
Previous experience with high-scale or distributed RDBMS
Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services EC2, Elastic MapReduce) and considerations for scalable, distributed systems
Knowledge of NoSQL platforms (e.g. key-value stores, graph databases, RDF triple stores)

Skills:
Total Experience - 6.5 - 9 years
-Systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects
