Job Description · Participate in projects with key Securities and Capital markets customers with

nature of work spanning across the software services value chain: application

development/enhancement / migration/ product implementation and

reverse engineering.

· Perform business requirements/gap analysis, propose relevant solutions and

validate with business users.

· Provide detailed functional specifications of the users requirements to the

development team.

· Communicate, coordinate and assist with various development and user teams

(onsite and off shore) in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle.

Design and follow up on action-plans.

· Prepare test plans and perform the functional testing for validation of business

requirements implementation.

· Anticipate issues and escalate to key internal and external stakeholders.

· Enhance the business knowledge in chosen competency areas within capital

markets and develop as a subject matter expert and consultant in

2 to 5 years timeline.

· Participate and contribute in consulting assignments, business development

efforts (RFPs/RFIs) and branding initiatives (white papers/media publications)

for the Securities and Capital markets vertical.

· The current opportunities in the Securities and Capital Markets domain team

comprise of Business Analysts and Senior Business Analyst.

Functional Skills

· The domain knowledge should include a broad understanding of the securities

& capital markets landscape particularly with regard to the either of the

following industry practice areas - Asset/Wealth Management, Custody,

Exchanges, Securities Reference Data, Derivatives processing, Fund

Accounting/Administration, Reconciliation, Brokerage platforms, Performance

& Risk Analytics and Client Reporting.

Operational Skill

· Good communication skills, team spirit, multitasking abilities, strong analytical

thinking, listening & questioning skills, and client interfacing skills.

Technical Skills (desirable)

· SQL Query, database concepts, understanding of different types of software

development and delivery methodologies such as agile, cloud, etc.

Brokerage platforms, Performance & Risk Analytics and Client Reporting.

questioning skills, and client interfacing skills. The person should be able to own

the requirements management for a mid-sized project and lead a team of

around 3-4 BAs. The person should possess advanced business analysis skills

proven through delivering in multiple client engagements. Exposure to onsite/

client locations is desirable

Technical Skills (required)

· The person should be well versed with different types of software development

and delivery methodologies such as agile, cloud etc. Advanced skills in SQL

Query and database concepts.
