Software Engineer, Senior (Min 5-7 years of relevant experience) No. of Positions: 5 Positions Responsibilities Learn and adapt applicable  technologies , products  and tools Demonstrates good understanding of the product Develops in depth knowledge in certain components of the product Understand and analyze business requirements and designs  provided Assists with technical design Develops software components independently Develops and executes Unit Tests Follows standard process  and procedures Identifies and resolves software bugs Performs code reviews Tests and integrates with other development tasks Demonstrates problem solving and innovation Proactively picks up development and maintenance tasks Proactive reporting of all activities to the reporting managers Skills Required At least 5-7 years of solid Java / J2EE coding experience: hands on, real-world web development experience using JSP, Java Servlets, Java Struts or similar framework (i.e. Spring, Hibernate, etc.), EJB and JDBC. Skills working on both application front end and back end development Good SQL,PL/SQL skills and experience with Oracle. Good understanding of object oriented design, and basic knowledge of frameworks Bonus points for client side development experience using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX. Exposure to JMA, XML, Web Services is a plus. Ability to understand and work with new frameworks. Strong analytical skills and resourceful in issue resolution Experience contributing to automated test suite by writing unit and functional tests Experience with SCRUM methodology or extreme programming is a great plus Good COMMUNICATION skills. Any SCM Product development experience will be an added advantage.
