Job Responsibilities:
• Help in establishing Testing methodologies, Test strategies and Test Quality gates.
• Drive the Functional/Regression Test Automation initiatives and activities.
• Responsible for strategic planning in conjunction with divisional leadership.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of functional/regression test cycle executions.
• Responsible for formulating test strategy, planning, estimating and delivery for any given engagement or release.
• Administers defect management including monitoring and reporting.
• Responsible for resource planning, management, setting goals and evaluating performances.
• Resolves issues of test scope, approach, and execution as they arise.
• Working collaboratively with other QA/Testing/Application Development or Business Analyst teams in the organization.
• Responsible for adherence to quality assurance processes, procedures, tools and standards.
• Establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics to improve the effectiveness of test processes.
• Evaluates technology & tools and recommends the acquisition and/or implementation of tools to increase the QC function's efficiency.
• Ensures SOX compliance.
• Build, motivate and retain a world class test team to cater to the various testing needs of NTS-UAT team.
Qualifications:
• B.Tech/MCA/Graduation from a premier institute (Minimum 15 years of formal education)
• 9 - 10.5 yrs of Application testing experience.
• Should have executed manual as well as automation testing engagement.
• Should have been in charge of testing/quality assurance team in a complex changing environment.
• Advanced Project Management skills training.
• Must have a strong background in testing, software delivery management, business, and technology skills. Proven ability to manage diverse resources including business analysts, quality assurance, development, architecture, project management, and program management.
• Should have prior hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
