DMS Service Desk Positions

Job Location - Hyderabad
Experience range : 3 to 4.5 yrs
Job Responsibilities:
• Service Desk support for UDW, Galaxy, DSS; expanding to more DMS services
• Analysing complex data quality or reconciliation issues reported by the end users.
• To get familiar with the business and data models of applications like UDW, Galaxy and so on.
• Write complex SQLs in databases like Teradata , DB2 etc
• Answer and appropriately close service desk tickets and alerts in HPSM tool
• Distribute standard customer communication related to env unavailability, critical processing delays and technical issue
• Coordinate with other teams like Operations Support, Business Analysts and Data Quality to help resolve issues reported by end users
• SD tickets (triage, analyze, follow up, resolve, close)
• Compile statistics
• Root cause analysis and documentation
Job Qualifications:
Primary Skills:
• Teradata SQL (structured query language) Programming
• Service Management /Helpdesk Experience using tools like HPSM
• Cognos (Low/moderate) - Knowledge of any BI/Reporting tools like BO, Crystal Reports etc would also be preferred
• Problem analysis
• Teradata SQL Assistant
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
• Familiar with and knowledgeable on other platforms like DB2 databases and ETL process
• Knowledge of ITG, AutoSys etc.
IMP: The candidates in this position will be expected to be flexible with working hours and will be expected to work in 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 11 AM - 8:30 PM shifts on rotation basis
