Test Engineer - Database Testing

Job Location – Hyderabad



Job Responsibility:

• Interpret / analyze business requirements & functional specifications.

• Handle medium/complex releases independently.

• Extremely Good at writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios and in Test executions to validate business requirements independently

• Independent communication with business partners to resolve issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines

• Participate in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision

• Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor.

• Ability to drive meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings.

• Build a healthy relationship with project stakeholders/business partners





Desired Skills:

• B.Tech./MCA/Graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, Correspondence courses are not relevant).

• 1.5 - 2.9 years of strong experience in Manual Testing.

• Should have excellent knowledge of testing methodologies.

• Should be well versed with complete SDLC cycle

• Strong experience with SQL queries/Oracle basic queries (till joins, sub-queries).

• Strong in Database Testing(Mandate)

• QTP and UNIX knowledge is Preferable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, co-ordination skills.

• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.

• Exposure to any versioning tool will be highly desirable

• Ability to work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination.

• Should very good in Client handling
