Software Test Engineer:
Primary Accountabilities:
• Reproduce the customer incidents. Execute test cases/Perform exploratory testing/Regression Testing.
• Identify, isolate and report product defects and recommend corrective actions where possible
• Synchronize and communicate with multiple teams based at US, UK and JA as necessary • Should be a team player with excellent attitude towards owning work.. Skills on C++/C#/.NET will added advantage
Mandatory Skills:
•Testing – Good understanding of testing methodologies and concepts. Needs to have ability to write and execute test cases. Hands on experience in analyzing & recreating the problems in the products built with/on MS technologies - preferably Client/Server. Hands on experience in developing custom automated test scripts ensuring (if required) ensuring that incidents are not addressed with side-effects. Good understanding on the deployment environments & different configurations. Ability to troubleshoot a problem based of incident reports, assisting dev to reproduce the incidents. Ability to plan & deliver patches - Test and certify the patches on the simulated customer environments. Should be passionate, owner, excellent team player and ability to mentor other members. Should have Strong Analytical skills to identify the root cause & Problem solving ideas are required. Experience right from - Planning a patch to tracking the same till delivering to the customer with high quality is required. • Platforms/Operating Systems - Must have working knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 2003 or Windows 2000 configuration, including knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and other infrastructure. Windows Vista knowledge is an advantage. In addition, must have basic understanding of operating system fundamentals. Any additional operating systems knowledge or experience is an advantage• Networking - Must have a working understanding of network components and infrastructure. This should include networking hardware and basic networking theory• Hardware - Must have a working understanding of PC hardware and other network infrastructure components.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
• 0-2 years software development experience.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux development platform, networking, socket programming and debugging.
• Requires proficiency in C/C++ and Data structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Requirements:
• The ability to work in an energetic and dynamic environment
• Goal-oriented attitude and demeanor, self motivated and able to work through roadblocks and manage a project from start to finish
• Positive attitude and able to adapt to an interrupt driven, fast paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience: 0-2 years
Education Qualifications:· Education: Requires at least a 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent, B. E/B.Tech, ME, M. Tech in Computer Science
· Please note for freshers we are looking only for candidates from recognised colleges with a CGPA of 7 and above or Percentage 70%.
